Best game I have ever bought. I have grown tired of Guitar Hero but this game keeps me coming back for more. There is something about the Rock Band style that is fun and makes me want to keep playing despite the huge amount of hours I have put into it. Now, do I spent $18 and buy the Pearl Jam album for this game or not? I just can't make up my mind. That is a bit pricey but the best album ever.

eh. idk. i prob wont be getting that album. buck rb2 is awesome.
Never got the Pearl Jam album but have a TON of other DLC... but I have to say GH Metallica has me hooked more at the moment... sure the RB2 is so much better as a game... but its Metallica =P the first band I was an uber fan of... doesn't matter how hard it is lol.
I tend to buy albums before get togethers, so you get a lot of initial use out of them and you don't feel like you wasted the valuable microsoft points. If you are playing a lot or doing the career mode, I also say get a bunch of songs you like, it makes the game a lot more fun, if you aren't stuck playing random songs you don't like as much
What I usually do is buy particular songs in the album that are good. For example, buying the entire Nirvana album can be sort of lame since there are 2 songs on that album that shouldn't be in the game..since they aren't good Band songs.

I did the same with No Doubt, where I bought like 2 out of the 10 songs..since I didn't want to play their other stuff :P
I don't play Rhythm games like Guitar Hero or Rock Band but if you truly have fun playing the game then why not purchase the Pearl Jam?
I guess I have other ideas for $18. Maybe you should save it for Battlefield 1943.
@bjswick33 That's what I would probably do, or use it to purchase Banjo-Tooie.
I need to buy RB2. The only flaw of music games that I've found, is that they are the fastest way ever to lose your neighbors being friendly. Almost impossible to play at "reasonable" volumes. It must be at 11.
I agree with tibbon. If it's not loud, you really don't feel like you're part of the RB experience. I've found that splitting the audio off of the surround sound and handing out headphones works pretty well but feels a little...wierd.
