I can't put my finger on it. I have been playing some Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and I am just not enjoying it as much as I did the first game. It seems to have everything the first game did and more, but it just does not seem to be as good to me.

My biggest complaint and I am sure its just me is that I find it hard to keep track of my character. I don't know if its the lighting, the amount of characters on screen, or the fast paced action that I lose my guy a LOT while playing.

The fusion powers are pretty sweet and fun to pull of. Plus its nice to have the coop but it still just does not seem as fun as I had expected and I really don't know why.

I haven't been enthusiastic about the release of this. I read Secret Wars 15-20 years ago when it came out and I don't need to play it. I had the same problem with the original UA. Would constantly lose my character so I chose a iron man easy to pick out plus he can fly. Still doubt I will get around to this anytime soon
I think you just have to get used to it, I had trouble finding my character a lot of times but I don't see that being a huge deal considering how absolutely frantic the screen can get. The really squeeze a TON of enemies on screen at once, and I always tend to find my bearings when I pull off a fusion move!
Yeah, the fusion moves really mess me up. But I am enjoying the game not that I have more time in it. I have started using Thing (very easy to keep your eyes on him) and Deadpool. I was originally playing as Wolverine and I just could not keep up with where he was.
After playing the game a lot this weekend, I am enjoying it. I had lots of fun playing with three other buddies online in coop. That was a blast to play. I am enjoying the storyline a lot better then the first game and the fusion moves are pretty sweet.
So I guess my opinion is changing for the better.
