This game is amazing. I am so glad that this game is everything I hoped it would be. I am NOT a fan of RPG games but I LOVE Borderlands. This is a shooter with tons of loot and leveling up your character. This is what shooters should be.

I agree, although I am a RPG fan so I think I was destined to like it. Some of the comments on MW2's development sound interesting(although not as cool as Borderlands). So far all I have been doing is playing each character through the first questline to get a feel for them and figure out what I want to primarily play.

No Borderlands is more focused on action while Fallout 3 was focused on the exploration and NPC interaction. If you played both you will see similar traits like the compass and the look of the land. But there is no V.A.T.S. and the story for Borderlands takes a back seat. Borderlands is a collect stuff and gun things down game. It's very simple which makes this game very fun for FPS and RPG fans.

If you play it alone it will be boring after a while. You will feel no challenge and you won't get cool weapons until much later in the game. Now if you have 1 or 3 friends then you'll love this game. More enemies show up better stuff is available and makes the game a lot more fun.

In a nut shell if you love FPS, finding stuff, lots and lots of guns and ammo, re-spawning enemies to kill, funny comments, and co-op. You'll enjoy the game.

Well if you live in America it's already out in any video game store. Europe and Australia should get it on the 23 of October. Japan has no release date as of yet.

This game gets better every time I play it. Fought some big baddies last night and lived to talk about it. So intense and so much fun. This just may end up being my game of the year. Amazing, simply amazing.

Length will vary.

By one's self I've heard it's 20-30 hours this is story missions only. Add in friends, more items, more bad guys and the time will sky rocket.

So far I've logged 16 hours and I'm still at the beginning with my 4 friends since we battle over items and we are unlocking achievements and experience points.

This game could go well into 100+ hours range considering there are 4 different characters to play as. If you get 30 hours per, that is 120 hours right there.

Personally, I do plan as playing as all 4 characters. I may not level them all up to full level, but I will get each of them up a long ways so that I can play with others.
