This is more Rock Band just with the Lego name attached in every way. My kids really enjoyed it for the Lego guys and the different venues. My oldest loved the Train Station as he is really into Trains.

The game lives up to what it means to do and that is to get families to play with their kids. The kids will enjoy the setting as well as the music. I was wondering why the song Accidentally in Love by the Counting Crowes was in the game but then my oldest said "Hey, that is the Shrek song" and I realized he was right. That song is from one of the Shrek movies and now I knew why it was in the game.

For Rock Band fans (like me) this does not bring anything new to the table and for the most part I do not care for most of the songs. There are a few that I really enjoy but I can't see paying the extra money to buy this game (its a rental right now) or to even import the songs into RB2.

If you have kids, they will enjoy this. If you don't, then you might want to skip it. All in all, its not bad and it is a good use of the Rock Band name. At least its not the crap that is Band Hero.
